Jim freeman, originally from Texas, has been a commercial and fine art photographer for the past 25 years. Now living in Southwest Florida, Jim as been exploring and photographing the 10,000 islands near and inside the Everglades National Park. Many of these locations are only accessible by boat, so Jim combines his love of sailing and exploring to capture images of these unique islands. After photographing the deserts and mountians of the Southwestern United States for many years, Jim finds the wide open sky and panoramic views of the islands reminiscent of the Southwest. Jim's commercial work has appeared in publications from Texas Monthly to the New York Times Magazine, as well as local and regional publications in south Florida. His fine art landscapes decorate airports, corporate offices, and the homes of private collectors. Jim lives on the Isles of Capri near Naples, Florida with his spouse Sherri Morrison who is a freelance graphic designer.
